Manifestation Alignment

"Focusing on one's true desires (weighing them against your deepest rooted values and most tantalizing interests) leads to clear minded decisions (latin root meaning: Cutting off from all else... in other words all other 'junk' that does not serve you). Focus on your true desires. Make a daily exercise of it until you are 100% aligned with manifesting your desires effortlessly & continuously." - Mike Klingler

Soul-Post: The LORD Keeps His Promises

"The LORD Keeps His Promises" Nations and kingdoms may rise. Businesses may gain influence. Celebrities and cultural forces may think they can shape society in their own image, ignoring God. For a season, they may smugly think they're powerful, in control of their own destiny, and that God doesn't matter. But the Lord knows everything we do. His plans are sure, written and confirmed. Justice will be done. The wicked will be punished. The Godly will be rewarded. He will prevail.
God knows everything you face. He understands your problems and needs. Stay humble, and trust your life to Him. Remember: God will accomplish His purposes, for the nations, for all of creation, and for you. Serve Him faithfully with your time, talent, and treasure.

God has and always has had - a name.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed Be Thy

name NAME (Our Father, Word by Word)

by Karen Edmisten

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. ~Acts 4:12

When I ponder the idea that God has a name, I am struck by what an intimate, personal, powerful thing that is. My husband has a name, my children, my friends, my family — the people with whom I have a relationship. When we give names to inanimate objects, it’s said that we’re personalizing them. Names allow relationships.

Our Father has a Name. He’s not an “it” — not an object, an impersonal force or a distant mechanic. He is a Person. With a name. When I first inched toward Christianity, after years of atheism, I thought a lot about that idea. I was stunned to think that we share this characteristic with Him.

A name. It’s what we whisper to our beloved. It is what we bestow on our babies after much careful consideration. Names call to mind friends, sisters, fathers, heroes. Names identify us, shape us, and connect us.

In Scripture, a name often defines a mission, and a name change indicates a vital change in one’s role and purpose. Thus Abram becomes Abraham, Sarai becomes Sarah and Jacob is transformed into Israel. Simon becomes the rock and Saul is shattered, resurrected as Paul. One name defines the mission from the start: Jesus means, and is, our Savior.

Therefore God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ~Philippians 2:9-11

Names have meaning. I become my name, it becomes me. My name is who I am but that began with the origin of all things, with God — He has a Name, at once precious and holy. I, in a certain sense, am my name. I am Karen. But He — He is simply I AM. He exists in a way that I cannot and do not. But at the same time, He wants me to have a share in that existence, to be part of what He is. To be called by name.

But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” ~Isaiah 43:1

We are made in God’s image and likeness in other ways — He’s given us both a will and an intellect, after all, just as He possesses — and so why not in this way? Why not, the Divine Mind must have mused, give my creatures the intimacy of names?

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. ~Proverbs 18:10

I can barely fathom Who and What God is, but when I call on His Name, when He calls mine, I have a glimpse of what He intends for me and for all of His creatures — an intimate, eternal, holy connection. And I am changed forever by I AM.

… for He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is His Name. ~Luke 1:49

.

What are your thoughts? What else can we learn from “Name”?

1st Quarter is DONE

The first quarter of 2011 (Jan-Mar) is officially OVER! Now what does this mean? It can mean a few things. It can mean that I accomplished what I thought I'd accomplish by now and feel like I'm on the way to greatness, OR, that I didn't accomplish any where NEAR what I thought I would and ummm... I'm still on my way to greatness :-D.

See, the path I set out on this year isn't an easy one. I kinda duped myself into believing it would be and got a VERY rude awakening, but a welcomed one nonetheless. I lost a bit of my drive in recent weeks as certain aspects of my personal life became rocky. I began to doubt myself here and there, and as a child of the Most High - that's a no-no.

Anyway, enjoy the video, see what few changes I've decided to make and see some of the things that DID turn out well. Like my cousin Booda's T-Shirt launch - Dephiny! Now get over there and cop a tee or we can no longer be friends... I'm serious.

Peace & God Bless! Cheers,

Handsome...

Eggs, Spinach, & Beans - Yum.

Img-20110404-00119

My dish may not look too appealing, but it tastes good to me and serves a bigger purpose - "Building La Bestia". For you non-Spanish speaking (reading) folk out in digital land, "La Bestia" stands for "The Beast", therefore I am currently building the beast (#BuildLaBestia for my fellow HashTag Fiends out there).

My meal is simple, 1/2 Carbs, 1/2 Protein, and pretty much zero to low-fat. Ingredient details available upon request, but pretty much I made some Spinach, Tomato, Turkey (I usually use Prosciutto but it has too much fat for my current purposes), diced Onion, Oregano, Tumeric, Garlic, & Taragon Egg Scramble (1 Whole Organic Egg & 3 Eggs whites), with some Red Pinto Beans (which I make over the weekend and just reheat when meal-time approaches), and voila - a #BuildLaBestia, muscle-feeding plate.

Enjoy! And God Bless :-D

2011... So Far.

Hello Hand-Hoppers & Others :-). I realize I've neglected my blogs and was sticking strictly to posting videos on YouTube and then sharing them via FaceBook & Twitter - NOT cool. So now, as a default, I've decided to get BACK on my blogging thizzle and just have ALL my accounts connected. Sort of like a mass web of Handsomeness. I mean let's face it, you can never have too much Handsome in your life, could you?

So yes, although most on FaceBook will be seeing this post and recognizing the videos, it must be done. Who knows, it might also serve a refresher for anyone who has seen the videos and has forgotten about the message behind 2011; The Year of The DO!!!! LET'S GET THINGS DONE!!!

As it says in Romans, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" - no one but that bitter LOSER who resides in the lake of fire :-P

ENJOY!!! And believe me - there's WAY more to come!

"Peace of Mind Can Be Attained Only By a Positive Mental Attitude" by Napoleon Hill

If you still have no idea who Napoleon Hill is, yet you claim you wish to become successful in life - shoot yourself... (I'm only kidding.. maybe not :-P).

Really though, I don't think any man in HISTORY has been more influential in the lives of Entrepreneurs/Life Coaches/Motivational Speakers etc. Every thing this man ever spoke about was pure GENIUS. I'm not going to bore you any longer with my Napoleon Hill obsession, just read below and you'll probably become obsessed yourself (HOPEFULLY!).

Enjoy! J.C.

Peace of mind is one of the most sought after blessings in life. As is true of everything of value, you must pay a price to obtain it. And the price required is the continual and consistent maintenance of a positive mental attitude. If you will pay this price, you will receive the following blessings, all of which result in peace of mind:

  • Freedom from want.
  • Freedom from superstition.
  • Freedom from fear in all of its forms.
  • Freedom from the common weakness of seeking something for nothing.
  • The habit of doing your own thinking.
  • The habit of frequent self-inspection from within, to determine what changes of character are necessary.
  • The habit of developing sufficient courage and inherent honesty with yourself to look at life as a realist.
  • The habit of discouraging both greed and the desire for power at the expense of others.
  • The habit of helping others to help themselves.
  • Recognition of the truth that the universal power of Infinite Intelligence is available to all who will learn how to use it.
  • Freedom from anxiety over what may happen to you after death.
  • Freedom from all desire for revenge.
  • The habit of going the extra mile in all human relationships.
  • Knowledge of yourself – the you which cannot be seen in a mirror; an understanding of who you are and what your virtues and abilities are.
  • Freedom from discouragement.
  • The habit of thinking in terms of your highest and noblest objectives.
  • The habit of looking for the seed of equivalent benefit in every adversity.
  • The habit of taking life in your stride, neither shrinking from the disagreeable nor over-indulging in the pleasant.
  • The habit of starting where you stand to accomplish your goals.
  • The habit of conquering petty misfortunes rather than being mastered by them.
  • The joy of doing, rather than merely possessing.
  • The habit of making life pay off on your terms, in values of your choosing.
  • The habit of giving before trying to get.
  • The privilege of engaging in a labor of love of your own choice.

These are some of the joys which one receives from peace of mind by exercising a positive mental attitude. A review of this list will also convince you that men with positive mental attitudes are never found in a rut. And it will also be evident to you that another blessing which can be achieved by maintaining a positive mental attitude is the attainment of success in your chosen field of endeavor.

"If you limit your thoughts, you are basically limiting God's
power.  You're saying that He isn't powerful enough to make
you rich.  And thinking your place is with the middle, or
lower, class, is simply doing the same."
- Andrew "The Maestro" Massaro

"The 100/0 Principle" and the MAGIC behind it.

The other night I get a text message from my good buddy at SREC - Josh Cantwell. I was part of his coaching program a few years back and we developed a pretty good personal relationship. So he tells me last week of "The 100/0 Principle" by Alfred Ritter. When he first mentioned it I didn't fully understand it. To me it sounded like giving my all and getting NOTHING in return lol. Well Josh knows me and knows I don't like not being in the know so-to-speak, so he sent me the link so I could read it myself. And let me tell you - I WAS BLOWN AWAY! I'm Christian man so I understand the whole principle of being more like Jesus and washing others feet and so on, and so on, but I don't care who you are, how good of person you believe yourself to be - that's tough to do. However, when I read Mr. Ritter's work I gained a whole new understanding behind "doing without expecting" and how in the end you actually WILL get something in return. Actually, you'll get MORE than you ever could expect in return. I won't bore you with my rambling any longer. I've taken the same excerpt Josh initially showed me, which he then sent out the his whole mailing list because we were both so blown away. Hope you enjoy it and HOPEFULLY, you'll apply it ;-).

God bless & Stay fresh people, Johnny C.

An excerpt from The 100/0 Principle by Al Ritter:

What is the most effective way to create and sustain great relationships with others? It's The 100/0 Principle: You take full responsibility (the 100) for the relationship, expecting nothing (the 0) in return.

Implementing The 100/0 Principle is not natural for most of us. It takes real commitment to the relationship and a good dose of self-discipline to think, act and give 100 percent.

The 100/0 Principle applies to those people in your life where the relationships are too important to react automatically or judgmentally. Each of us must determine the relationships to which this principle should apply. For most of us, it applies to work associates, customers, suppliers, family and friends.

STEP 1 - Determine what you can do to make the relationship work...then do it. Demonstrate respect and kindness to the other person, whether he/she deserves it or not.
STEP 2 - Do not expect anything in return. Zero, zip, nada.
STEP 3 - Do not allow anything the other person says or does (no matter how annoying!) to affect you. In other words, don't take the bait.
STEP 4 - Be persistent with your graciousness and kindness. Often we give up too soon, especially when others don't respond in kind. Remember to expect nothing in return.

At times (usually few), the relationship can remain challenging, even toxic, despite your 100 percent commitment and self-discipline. When this occurs, you need to avoid being the "Knower" and shift to being the "Learner." Avoid Knower statements/ thoughts like "that won't work," "I'm right, you are wrong," "I know it and you don't," "I'll teach you," "that's just the way it is," "I need to tell you what I know," etc.

Instead use Learner statements/thoughts like "Let me find out what is going on and try to understand the situation," "I could be wrong," "I wonder if there is anything of value here," "I wonder if..." etc. In other words, as a Learner, be curious!

Principle Paradox
This may strike you as strange, but here's the paradox: When you take authentic responsibility for a relationship, more often than not the other person quickly chooses to take responsibility as well. Consequently, the 100/0 relationship quickly transforms into something approaching 100/100. When that occurs, true breakthroughs happen for the individuals involved, their teams, their organizations and their families.
