Kanye West, Amy Winehouse, Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Justin Score Big Grammy Nominations

Everyone figured there would be two names dominating this year's Grammy Awards nominees: rapper Kanye West and troubled songstress Amy Winehouse. And Thursday morning (December 6), when Akon, Fergie, Linkin Park's Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda, the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins, country artist Taylor Swift and comedian George Lopez announced the nominees inside the Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood, West's and Winehouse's names came up a lot.

Kanye West topped the nominations with eight, Amy Winehouse scored six, and the Foo Fighters, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake and T-Pain each earned five nods. Akon, Dierks Bentley, Chris Daughtry, Feist, Tim McGraw, John Newton, Ne-Yo, Rihanna and Bruce Springsteen received four each.

Kanye and Winehouse will go head-to-head for Album of the Year honors: West for his third opus, Graduation, and Winehouse for her sophomore LP, Back to Black. Gym Class Heroes Working on New Album

This has to be one of my favorite groups (thanks josh for putting me on). Gym Class Heroes is starting to work on there new album and so far the collaboration sound a little out of left field, But this is what great groups do...test the waters right? Gym class Heroes is working with Ne-Yo and the super production Duo Cool & Dre (this.is, this.is, this.is...)

Video: Ne-Yo "Can We Chill"

Pretty damn late to to up uploading video's, but this one caught my eye. When this video starts I hear the the sounds of motorcycles beeping and a Rooster singing... Sounds which are too familiar to me. Ne-Yo definitely went out to the Dominican Republic to shoot this video. Beautiful woman, beaches and wonder full People surrounds this video... The last shot of this video features the famous Club by the name of Guácara Taína, which was built within a cave... good times...good times...

Ne-Yo Speaks on Britney's Comeback

Ne-Yo spills the beans on what's going on with Britney's album to Ryan Seacrest:

“I have no idea what’s going on with Britney Spears right now. The last thing I heard was that Britney was mad at me over some songs that were supposed to go to her that wound up going to Nicole Scherzinger. She got the first look. I wrote the songs for Britney Spears, but this was before she shaved her head and went into rehab again. Nicole took the songs and recorded them.

Here’s how it happened, I was working with Britney Spear’s people. I wrote 6 to 8 songs for Britney Spears, working really closely with her A&R people at her label. Then Britney Spears goes ahead and shaves her head and goes into rehab. When that happened, I lost all contact with her A&R people, with her label. I was calling them, they weren’t returning phone calls, wouldn’t answer my calls. I’m like, ‘Alright. I guess they’re not interested anymore.’ In the process of all that going on, that’s when I met [Pussycat Doll] Nicole Scherzinger. She’s like, ‘Hey, I’m putting an album together, I’d love you to be a part of it.’ I played her two songs, she loved them. They cut a check, she recorded the songs. Those are her songs. After that happened, that’s when Britney Spears’ people called me like, ‘Hey, why are you giving away Britney’s music?’ I’m like, hold on. Y’all ain’t cutting me no check!”
