Whats going to happen to the major record labels and music networks (not that we need them with their dumb reality shows (when I'm bored I do watch.. I Can't front)... Things are looking bleak for them. Nowadays we have Youtube to watch the latest videos from any artist especially the independent one's.

We have to admire 50's (not Independent YET!) drive to take his career in his own hands by creating Thisis50.com- bringing out music and video's whenever he wants. He's back to his old self (circa 02') with the whole Mixtape movement - and on the digital grind.

Another perfect example of "Digital Grinnding" and going against the machine is the boy Ryan Leslie. He took YouTube and Myspace by storm with his artist Cassie. His label Next Selection is known because of his independent drive not because of a major label (Badboy came into play afterwards).

Some Artist have taking this route and haven't achieve success, but they should keep trying perfect the craft. Afterall, nothing comes easy.

Charges Dropped For Tony Yayo

Criminal charges against rapper G-Unit member Tony Yayo were dismissed today (February 14), although the rapper pled guilty to a violation, regarding an incident last March involving the 14-year-old son of a rival music executive.

In March of 2007, Yayo, born Marvin Bernard, was accused of backhanding the son of music executive Jimmy "Henchmen" Rosemond, who manages a number of top rappers, including G-Unit rival The Game.

Yayo's Assault Trial Scheduled For January

Tony Yayo is accused of assaulting the 14-year-old as he walked to his internship at Czar Entertainment, the company headed by his father, Jimmy Henchmen.
Henchmen manages a number of rappers including The Game, a bitter rival to 50 Cent's G-Unit collective, which features Yayo.

"I am looking forward to a trial and it is important that justice be done," said Cynthia Reed, the boy's mother."

I like the homie Yayo, but lets leave the rapper beef with just that... The rappers. Theres is not need for you to put your hands on no one (allegedly)- even if they had a Fuck yayo t-shirt on...right? lol

Finally the a G-Unit Album will be released on December 18th - The first single “Wanna Lick” Fea. Lil Kim, will air tomorrow on Hot 97’s Funkmaster Flex Show. Lets see if this album will work out the low numbers the G-Unit members have encountered on there solo projects. I'm a fan if this pops for them then everything will fall into place once again. If not then you will see the G-Unit members going to do grave yard shift up at....KOCH!!!
