Britney Bouncing Back With Album Sales

First-day sales from the eight chains that report to Nielsen SoundScan's Building Charts put Spears' Jive/Zomba release "Blackout" at 124,000 on the report released today (Oct. 31). I'm glad Brit is doing well with the record (Nah I wont copp it) but it gets me to think... Is Jive Records copping some Albums so Britney can do well on the charts? Cause the tracks that we have heard in Internet land are plainly NOT Good! Lets see if she can pull this off and get back to being the superstar that she was and a good mom (if the judge see's that she is doing better...No not on the charts)

Kelis' dropped from Jive Records

Well another Artist bites the dust for Jive Records... damn who is running the Urban department over at Jive... get on your job homie!...This report comes from Billboard-

Kelis' manager told Entertainment Weekly that the singer is working on an independent dance album with Cee-Lo. They're also shopping a pop album helmed by songwriter Guy Chambers, who co-wrote hits like "Angel" for Robbie Williams. In the meantime, Kelis is in talks to host a "Project Runway"-esque show for VH1 and is auditioning for various film and TV roles.

News: The Clipse Sign to Colombia Records

Finally the Clipse are free from boy band heaven... Jive Records - It was obvious that things were not going well... Who would want to be in a label thats just using you for tax write off. Lets hope the Urban department over at Colombia do right by the Clipse. I hope Rick Ruben takes interest in them... Imagine that

This will mark the first time that a Clipse album will not be entirely produced by longtime friends and collaborators The Neptunes. Instead, they have plans to work with Timbaland, Danjahandz and Dame Grease. “I can honestly say that we were all friends before the music and will be friends to the end,” Malice told Billboard of his relationship with the Neptunes. “Everything is business. If we had our way, we would always be on Star Trak. But it’s what’s working for you and what’s not. Britney Spears Label Speaks (Jive)

This is what Britney's Label spokesman Allan Mayer had to say to MTV News:

“It’s not Jive’s place to fashion a public-relations campaign with respect to Britney’s personal issues, but Jive does care about her and does support her. We’re not pointing fingers — because the media and the paparazzi wouldn’t exist if there weren’t an appetite for it. But there’s no question that when you have someone at this level of celebrity, they become like cartoons or soap-opera characters, and we forget that they’re human beings. People say that’s the trade you make, that you have to give up your privacy or the ability to lead a normal life, but sometimes you make that bargain before you realize what it entails and it’s too late. Britney’s a grown woman, and she makes her own choices, and we respect that. But she’s been at a disadvantage [without a consistent team], and obviously that makes it harder to cope.”

This is very true, Britney doesn't have any one to guide her career in the right direction. Her life is just falling apart little by little - Hopefully she pick ups the pieces before is too late... I'm still rooting for ya Brit!

Further Evidence That Britney Is Nuts!

I was really excited a few months ago when I heard that Timberland and Justin were going to work with Britney to help resurrect her career, so imagine the shock Jive Records received when baldy pulled out! What the hell is wrong with her!!???
